Subscription Policy — Lazyghost Subscription
1. What is the Lazyghost subscription
The Lazyghost subscription allows you to automatically receive your favorite products on a regular basis — without having to order every time.
Choose the product, choose the frequency, and we'll do the rest. You focus on what matters: training (and resting).
How it works:
- Select the product and activate the "Subscribe and save" option on the product page
- Choose the delivery frequency (available for each product with an active subscription plan)
- Complete the first order as normal
- Subsequent orders are processed automatically at the end of each cycle
The subscription is a periodic execution contract stipulated remotely pursuant to articles 45 et seq. of Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code). You will receive a written confirmation via email upon activation.
2. Automatic renewal
How billing works
Payment is automatically charged to the payment method you saved when you placed your first order, before each shipment.
You will receive a pre-notification email at least 3 days before each charge, with:
- Expected charge date
- Exact amount
- Products included in the order
- Direct link to modify, skip or cancel
Available frequencies
Frequencies vary by product (monthly, bi-monthly or other frequency indicated on the product page). The exact frequency is always visible in your customer portal.
Prices and variations
The price applied to each renewal is that in force at the time of the order. In case of a price change, we will send you an email notification at least 30 days before the change becomes effective. You may cancel the subscription without penalty before the new rate comes into effect.
Shipping
- Subscription orders that reach the free shipping threshold: free shipping
- Orders below threshold: standard rates apply (€6.99 Italy, €14.99 Europe)
- Current rates are always visible at lazyghost.it/policies/shipping-policy
3. Modify and pause subscription
You have full control of your subscription at all times from the customer portal.
How to access the portal
- Go to lazyghost.it/account
- Log in with email and password (or magic link via email)
- Select "My subscriptions"

4. Cancellation of subscription
You can cancel your subscription at any time, without penalty and without the obligation of minimum notice.
How to cancel
- Access the customer portal at lazyghost.it/account
- Go to "My subscriptions"
- Select the subscription > "Cancel subscription"
- Confirm cancellation
Cancellation is immediate. You will receive an email confirmation.
Important terms:
- Cancellation is effective from the next cycle not yet charged
- If the subscription has already been charged (the order is being processed), that cycle will be shipped normally
- There are no cancellation fees

5. Right of withdrawal
Right of withdrawal on the first order
For the first order of the subscription, you have the right of withdrawal within 14 days of receiving the goods, without having to provide any reason, pursuant to art. 52 Legislative Decree 206/2005 (Consumer Code).
How to exercise the right of withdrawal:
Send written communication to hello@lazyghost.it with the subject "Right of withdrawal — [order number]" within 14 days of delivery. You can use the standard form attached at the bottom of this policy.
After confirmation of withdrawal, return the product within a further 14 days. Return shipping costs are at your expense.
Exceptions to the right of withdrawal
Pursuant to art. 59 Legislative Decree 206/2005, the right of withdrawal does not apply to:
- Products which by their nature cannot be returned or are liable to deteriorate rapidly (e.g. opened/used products)
- Personalized or custom-made products
Refunds
Refunds are processed within 14 days of receiving the return, using the same payment method used for the purchase. Original shipping costs are not refunded if you took advantage of free shipping but return part of the order.
Withdrawal from subsequent cycles
For cycles subsequent to the first (periodic deliveries), withdrawal can be exercised within 14 days of receipt of each individual delivery, under the same conditions.
Alternatively, you can cancel the subscription at any time as described in the previous section — without waiting for delivery.
6. Data and payment management
Processing of personal data
Your data is processed by Lazyghost (data controller) for:
- Execution of the subscription contract (legal basis: art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
- Sending communications relating to the subscription (legal basis: art. 6(1)(b) GDPR)
- Email marketing if you have given explicit consent (legal basis: art. 6(1)(a) GDPR)
Your data is not sold to third parties. It is shared exclusively with:
- Shopify Inc. (e-commerce platform, payment infrastructure)
- Shipping couriers (delivery data only)
- Shopify Payments / payment processors (data necessary for the transaction only)

Payment security
Payments are processed via Shopify Payments, compliant with PCI DSS level 1 standards. Card data is never stored on Lazyghost servers. Shopify uses secure tokenization for recurring payments, in compliance with PSD2 Directive and Legislative Decree 218/2017 (Strong Customer Authentication).
Payment failure
If a recurring payment fails:
- You will receive an immediate email notification
- Shopify will automatically re-attempt the charge within the next 48 hours (maximum 3 attempts)
- If all attempts fail, the subscription is automatically suspended
- You can reactivate it by updating the payment method in the customer portal
